EUROPEAN class and ERASMUS plus project

The European class

Since 2009, the European section of the PA Chabanne high school aims to offer an education open to English-speaking countries through the reinforced learning of English. Business students who so wish can thus benefit on a weekly basis, one more hour in Business English (this is the non-linguistic discipline or DNL) with a sales teacher and an extra hour with their English teacher and/or an English-speaking assistant to deepen their knowledge of the country's culture.

Requirements: you must have a good level of English (written and oral), be motivated and ready to provide regular personal work, show curiosity, autonomy and dare to speak in front of your classmates.

  • At the end of the 3 years of schooling, the indication "European section" will appear on the diploma provided that you have obtained at least 12/20 in the modern language test passed in the language of the section and at least 10 /20 to the specific assessment in DNL.
  • The European mention » is a significant asset when recruiting but also to be able to pursue higher education.
Erasmus +

The internship abroad

In vocational high schools, the purpose of this European section is, just as much as linguistic competence, the acquisition of professional and cultural skills obtained through contacts with foreign countries. Thus, students in the final Bac Pro commerce and final bac pro aesthetics-cosmetics-perfumery students have the opportunity to go to England or Ireland for 3 weeks. The young interns are fully integrated into the company and carry out tasks which give rise to an evaluation counting towards obtaining the diploma: shelving, reception of deliveries, reception and information with customers, participation in commercial events, relocation products… for students in stores and customer service, face and body care, make-up, manicure, product management for students in beauty institutes.

This period of internship abroad gives rise to obtaining a Europass Mobilités (which certifies the skills acquired) and an optional mobility test which allows you to obtain additional points on the exam.
