The job

The holder of the BP Coiffure is a highly qualified professional who carries out his activity as an employer or employee in hairdressing salons or companies, in companies producing and distributing hair products, in health and social establishments.

Professional opportunities

He can occupy the positions of business manager, technical director, "manager", head of baccalaureate, hairdresser, animator or technical manager, professional adviser.

In the various jobs, he performs the following functions:

• Reception and customer follow-up
• Advice and promotion of services
• Design, realization of techniques
• Animation and staff management
• Administrative and financial management, business development

The training takes into account permanently and in a transversal way:

• Business knowledge
• Current regulations and standards
• Occupational health and safety
• Quality
• Sustainable development
• Mastery of computer tools and professional software

Terms of Access

• Be hired under an apprenticeship contract and meet the regulatory conditions for access to training.
• Hold the Hairdressing CAP.

Student working hours

35 hours per week

Internships – Work-study programs

It takes place over 2 years alternately:

• 16 weeks at UFA (28h) + Saturday in companies (7h)
• 31 weeks in companies (35h)
• 5 weeks vacation
